The Food Bio-Polymer & Bio-Active Lab advances food chemistry, functional food engineering, and nutraceutical delivery through experimentally rigorous, interdisciplinary work.

Our research program focuses on encapsulation, hydrocolloids, resistant starches, nanoscale transformation of biopolymers, and the valorization of underexplored Himalayan plant resources.
